Founder & clinical therapist

Dr. Jessica Diasodse

Often people come to therapy because they are suffering in one way or another. Therapy can provide relief, opportunities for growth and understanding, increased freedom, and sometimes is even life altering. I feel privileged to take this journey with my clients and create a space for this transformative process.

My Background

I completed my undergraduate education in psychology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and continued with graduate school training in clinical psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology in La Mirada, California. During my training, I was privileged to work with clients in many settings, including a psychiatric hospital, a men’s prison, private practice, and multiple college counseling centers. Through working in these settings with people from many backgrounds, one thing I’ve learned is that no matter who you are, there is power in understanding your story in the presence of another.

My Interests

I love gardening, music, all kinds of tea, reading books, hiking, foraging, and swimming. If I wasn’t concerned it might be a barrier to seeking therapy for some, I’d openly admit I’m a cat person! Professionally, when I’m not in the therapy room, I love teaching, providing psychoeducational talks and workshops, and using social media to help others learn about mental health.

What’s Next?

I’m looking forward to meeting you and creating a space where we can understand your story and work towards your goals together.

My Rates

Individual Services

Individual therapy (45-minute session): $190

Couples therapy (50-minute session): $225

Psychological assessment: $200 per hour, number of hours is case dependent

Accepted Payments

I accept payment via cash, check, debit or credit card, HSA, and Ivy Pay (and other contactless payments) at the end of each session.

Out of Network Billing

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, if you receive Out of Network (OON) benefits from your insurance coverage I can offer a receipt (called a superbill) with appropriate details for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier if applicable.

How do I know if I have out of network benefits?

Out of network benefits can significantly help cover the cost of therapy by reimbursing you for a substantial portion of the fees, sometimes up to 80-90%. If your insurance plan includes these benefits, you may be able to get reimbursed for sessions with providers outside your insurance network. It's worth checking if you have these benefits, as they can make therapy more affordable. Click the button below to easily check your coverage and reimbursement rate
